Chiropractic Assistant

Allied Health Chiropractic Centers, Thorp, WI has an immediate part-time opportunity for a motivated, goal oriented Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant to join the team. This position is approximately 27 hours/week, and responsibilities include:
Provide superior customer service to patients
Scheduling appointments
Insurance claim entry
Payment reconciliation/deposits
Become certified as a chiropractic technician (class notification through Allied Health) to perform chiropractic therapies, modalities & interview patients to obtain medical information, take vitals and document statistics in electronic health records
Qualified candidates will possess knowledge, skills, and abilities generally obtained through a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college or technical training in an administrative, secretarial, or health care related field is beneficial. Must have demonstrated record of professionalism, exceptional customer service and have a genuine interest in wellness care. In addition, the ideal candidate will be an organized, responsible self-starter with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, and adapting to change is required. Must have basic computer skills, ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office programs, and ability to learn Allied Health's internal computer programs, electronic health records, scheduling programs. Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
